We began in 1954 with a Sinclair Gas Station and then expanded to become Lutz and Thayer Marine through the 1960's and early 1970's. Expansion continued into the Automobile market with the purchase of the American Motors, Jeep and Renault franchise. Over the years Thayer Marine has established themselves as a leading boat dealer for Bayliner, Bennington, Sedona, Crestliner, Yamaha and Mercury. Currently, Thayer Marine is owned and operated by Michael Thayer, Chuck Thayer, Kris Thayer.
